Apply onto a clean fly line with a soft towel and allow it to dry. Once dry, the formation is set and will not dissolve again in water. It can be used on lines with AST or AST+, but the most noticeable slickness gains come with lines that do not already feature those slickness additives.

Embedded dirt on the surface of fly lines retains water which causes them to sink, proper cleaning restores fly line performance.
